pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang melibatkan pelajar secara aktif. Pembelajaran
dilakukan menerusi pengalaman yang meliputi aktiviti penemuan, dan memberi
peluang kepada pelajar untuk sampai kepada sesuatu kesimpulan atau penyelesaian
masalah dengan sendirinya (KPM, 1990). Dengan demikian, pelajar dapat
mempelajari matematik dengan lebih mudah, seronok dan mengembirakan.</span></div>
